Best AI Blog Post Writers of 2025

In this post, I’ll rank the best AI blog post writing tools of 2025.

I’ve tried all the tools, and here I list the ones you should try so you don’t have to waste time or money. Many of these platforms are multi-purpose AI content platforms rather than tools built specifically for writing blog posts. In this review, I’ll focus on testing solely the blog post writing features and will only test free tools or tools with free trials.

Let’s dive in!

My top 6

1. Koala AI
2.
Jasper
3.
Rytr
4.
Jenni AI
5.
Copymatic
6.
Tinywow

Let’s jump into the detailed reviews and showdowns with each tool on the list.

1. Koala AI

The first tool on my list is Koala AI, an AI-assisted writing platform for creating high-quality, SEO friendly content. Upon subscription, you get access to five Koala tools, including GPT-5 and Claude 4-powered chatbot KoalaChat and KoalaWriter.

How to Use it

Getting started with Koala is easy. Enter their website and sign up.

To test out the KoalaWriter’s free trial, no sign-up is needed. Just click on “Try KoalaWriter for Free” to start generating your article.

My Results

Let’s see what we can generate with KoalaWriter. I tested it mainly for its blog post writing feature.

Here is the writing panel.

Scrolling down, we find the settings that allow us to pick the AI Model, with the free trial it’s going to be GPT-4.1 Mini by default. Other settings include selecting the article type and length. KoalaWriter uses Real-Time Data integration to search for information from the web and keeps your articles accurate and up to date.

I wanted to write a default-length blog post about “Easy Meal Prep Ideas for Busy Weekends”. Most of the settings are only available on paid plans.

By checking the “Outline Editor” box, you’ll access an editor that allows you to modify the structure and outline of the article.

Here is the outline of my blog post, created entirely by the Outline Editor. You can add, remove, or rename sections.

And here is the final output! KoalaWriter generated an almost 2,000-word-long article for me in no time.

If the output is too AI-sounding for your liking, click on “Start Polish” which allows you to humanize the content and modify the text to sound more natural. It’s currently available with the Professional plan.

Overall, generating this post was easy, and even with the often-limited free trial, I was able to adjust the output and create an article to my liking. I especially liked the Outline Editor feature.

KoalaWriter has other features to support your writing, such as Bulk mode which can be utilized to generate multiple articles at once, and Article Queue.

Pros

  • Clean and user-friendly UI
  • Multiple convenient features for content creation, like the Outline Editor
  • Generated an accurate article

Cons

  • With the Free trial at least, output needs to be humanized
  • Only a few features are available with the Free trial

Pricing

Here are the pricing plans Koala AI currently offers. For individual creators, the Professional plan is the most popular.

To Take Home

Koala AI is a content creation platform for writers and creators looking to create SEO articles in no time. Powered by AI models like Claude4 and GPT-5, it generates factually accurate content that ranks on Google.

If I were a blog writer looking for an AI writing tool that generates SEO content, I would purchase KoalaAI based on this free trial. Having tried only the Free trial, creating an article with Koala AI was very simple and straightforward. The article included all the up-to-date information needed, thanks to Real-Time data integration. The unedited output needed some human editing before it was ready to be published, as the language was a bit too AI-like. KoalaWriter also had a separate feature for this.

Overall, I was really pleased with my experience and would recommend Koala AI to creators looking for a tool to make their publishing workflow more efficient.

2. Jasper AI

Second place for the best AI blog post writing tool goes to Jasper. It was the first in the industry, an AI platform especially for marketers, but also writers and creators. The most suitable tool on this list for teams or companies!

How to Use It

Here is how to get started with Jasper. Go to their website and start a free trial or purchase a plan.

Here is the dashboard where you should land after signing up.

My Results

Next, I’ll show you the results.

Jasper has a versatile list of tools for creating all kinds of content. My review focuses on the blog post writing feature only, so I only got a glimpse of Jasper’s potential.

So from the “Apps” menu, I chose the blog post writing tool.

Jasper provides a short introduction to the tool (or “app”) and the best use cases for it.

This is the dashboard. You can tailor the blog post to match your writing style and target audience by selecting the following settings.

You can save different “Brand voices” to create branded content and set them to be visible for people in your team/company. Selecting these settings will make the output more accurate and personal. Jasper also supports multiple languages; I was even able to generate text in my native language Finnish.

Here is the first draft of the blog post generated. I didn’t provide many details except for the title, everything else was created by Jasper.

While creating your content, you have access to Jasper Chat that supports you in writing. It can also do web searches for up-to-date research and citations for your post.

Pros

  • Easy to use, free trial available
  • Offers plenty of templates for all kinds of content types
  • SEO and marketing integrations
  • Can customize output and train the AI to mimic your own writing style

Cons

  • Might be overwhelming for an inexperienced user
  • Pricing is a bit high, especially for individuals or small creators who just want to test it out

To Take Home

Jasper AI is an AI writing assistant platform aimed at marketers, writers, and teams who want to produce content faster. It comes with an impressive library of templates for everything from blog posts and social media captions to ad copy and emails.

I tested Jasper mainly for blog post writing purposes, meaning I only explored one of its many features, and will base my review on that experience.

I didn’t provide much context for the AI, such as customizing my brand voice, so I expected the output to be quite general. Some other AI tools tend to produce text with a very heavy AI tone, but Jasper was able to generate more natural, human-sounding text for my post. At first, the wide selection of use cases can feel overwhelming for the inexperienced writer, but upon signing up, Jasper guides you through a quick tutorial on how to use its features.

In my opinion, it was one of the best tools I’ve tested for creating long-form content as an individual writer, and it would be interesting to test out its other features.

3. Rytr

Next up is Rytr, an AI writing assistant to support you in creating content. It’s mainly focused on short-form content like emails, video descriptions, and SEO friendly post and caption ideas, but also works for longer content like articles and blog posts. It helps you to get over writer’s block and can generate a blog post title and outline for you.

How to Use It

Here is how to start writing with Rytr, go to their website. No signing up is needed. Just click on “Start Ryting”.

Here are the use cases of Rytr, it can be used from short-form content like emails to longer blog posts and articles.

My Results

This is the writing dashboard, click “Create” to start writing. You can also upload a document.

Choose the use case for your content, since I’m testing the tool for blog post writing, I chose this. The tool has multiple language options, but those were only available on paid plans. The tone/voice can be changed with the free trial, though. I went with “Casual,” which I think suits a regular blog post best.

Write down your primary keywords for the output, basically what you want the post to be about. Creativity level can also be set to match your content, from none (more factual) to max.

So here is the output, only the title and the outline of the post are created at this point. Rytr provides some keywords for each section, so you can either start writing yourself or let the tool do the job.

By clicking on the orange “R” logo, this menu opens up. By highlighting the keywords in each section like this and clicking on “Paragraph”, you can generate more SEO friendly content from the keywords. You can do other improvements to the text too, like changing the length and tone.

This is what the output looks like. I ran out of the free credits so I was unable to complete the post, but I got a nice introduction to the features.

Pros

  • Easy to use, tutorials also available
  • Can be used to create all kinds of content
  • A solid tool for assisting in writing

Cons

  • Output has a very AI-like tone
  • Not the best tool for long-form content
  • I recommend verifying facts in the text before publishing

Pricing

Here are the pricing plans Rytr is currently offering.

  • Free: $0.00/mo
  • Unlimited: $7.50/mo
  • Premium: $24.17/mo

To Take Home

Rytr is an AI-assisted writing platform, especially for shorter content. Rytr does support other types of content too, the list is long and exhaustive, including Blog Post Outliner, AI Blog Generator, and Creative Writing.

I tested Rytr for blog post writing purposes. The Blog Idea & Outline was one of the use cases and fit my purpose well. It created a nice title and headings based on my prompt. It created a nice title and headings based on my prompt. Then I had the opportunity to continue writing myself from scratch, or generate more content based on SEO friendly keywords Rytr had provided for each section. This whole process felt very simple and quick, and would definitely save time and effort. The final text, on the other hand, would have needed some human polishing, as it sounded quite AI-generated. On a side note, I didn’t love the screaming red layout on the front page, but luckily it was only there. On the writing panel, you could even switch between dark and light modes.

Rytr is a good tool to get you started on your content creation process if you’re not feeling that creative or are experiencing writer’s block.

4. Jenni AI

Jenni AI is an “intelligent research assistant,” an AI-powered workspace designed to help with writing scientific articles. Personally, I wouldn’t use these kinds of AI platforms for scientific writing, but more for general content like blog posts or articles. That’s what I focused on testing in this review.

How to Use It

Here is how to start writing with Jenni AI: go to their website.

Click on “Start writing” and sign up. You are asked about your current role to customize your user experience. I picked “Masters”.

My Results

This is the dashboard. You can start writing from scratch, and the AI will make suggestions for the next phrases to complete your text, or start with a prompt.

Starting with a prompt opens this window, where you need to describe your idea for the article. Try to be specific so the AI has something to grasp and can generate higher quality content.

My idea for the article was provided by ChatGPT.

First, the title and headings are generated, and the AI starts to generate text phrase by phrase. You need to either accept the text suggestion or you can click on “Try again” if you’re not happy with the suggested output.

This way, you get to customize every phrase, but this will take a lot of time, obviously.

Jenni AI is a research-focused AI platform, and it provides citations into your text and even generates a full list of references. This wasn’t available with the free trial, though.

With a quick glance, citations were actually accurate and from well-respected journals.

Jenni AI has an AI chat feature that allows you to interact with your current document or even a PDF. For example, here I had opened one of the reference PDFs, and I was able to ask the AI chat to summarize it or ask questions about the PDF.

You can also import your existing citations.

To make using Jenni AI even easier, it provides a full list of shortcuts that allow you to operate with the keyboard only, making content creation even faster.

Pros

  • User-friendly and clean UI
  • Many convenient features for content creation
  • A solid tool for long-form content, especially academic papers
  • The citation feature is useful

Cons

  • Output has a very AI-like tone
  • Not the best tool for writing blog posts
  • Limited customization for tone or writing style in the free version

Pricing

Here are the pricing plans of Jenni AI.

  • Free: $0
  • Unlimited: $12
  • Custom: Custom pricing plan

To Take Home

Jenni AI is an AI writing assistant platform designed to help students, researchers, and writers create high-quality academic or professional content.

I tested Jenni AI mainly for AI-assisted blog post writing. And for that purpose only, Jenni AI is just another AI assistant tool. Language was very AI-like and vague, which in my opinion, is not suitable for an academic text, maybe for a blog post, yes. Also, the citations are not needed when writing a blog post (maybe unless you’re actually referencing something), but I think those can be turned off. Otherwise, I think Jenni AI had very convenient features, like the AI chat.

I have mixed feelings when it comes to using AI for academic purposes or for your school assignments. Using the auto-citation feature may seem useful, but there is a risk for accidental plagiarism, and the responsibility is on the writer. Also, submitting work without disclosing the AI use is generally frowned upon.

5. Copymatic

Copymatic is an AI-powered content creation platform that allows you to create content 10x faster.

How to Use It

Here is how to start generating blog posts with Copymatic. Enter their website.

Click on “Start free trial”, and sign up. I signed up with my Google account.

This is the dashboard where you should land after signing up. With the free trial, you can generate up to 1500 words. To generate a blog post, click on “Blog Post “Writer”.

My Results

Next, I’ll show you what I was able to generate with Copymatic. I tested their AI writing tool to generate an article suitable for a blog post.

This is the writing panel. I just needed to briefly describe my idea for the post in min. 40 characters, I wanted to generate an article about how to stay productive while working remotely. I was also able to increase the “Creativity” to high, but decided that regular was a sufficient setting for a blog post.

If you’re not feeling that creative, you can ask the AI to generate titles, intros, and outlines for you. It generates multiple options for each, and you get to choose which of them fits your content best. Of course, you also have the opportunity to write all of these yourself.

And here is the final output. You can still modify the text as much as you like, generate more text, or rewrite some phrases. The text was divided into clear and intuitive sections, but the article was left unfinished because I hit the word limit of the free trial.

Pros

  • Clean and user-friendly UI
  • Many convenient features for content creation
  • A good tool for long-form content

Cons

  • Output has a very AI-like tone
  • Can’t “humanize” output, or you’ll have to do it by hand
  • No built-in SEO or keyword research tools

Pricing

Here are the current pricing plans of Copymatic.

Pro: $15/month
Scale: $26/month
Enterprise: $52/month

To Take Home

Copymatic is an AI-powered content creation platform, where you can generate high-quality content from shorter emails or ads to long-form blog posts and articles. You only need to provide a short description of what kind of output you wish to receive, and the AI will generate it for you.

I tested Copymatic’s writing tool and generated a blog post about maintaining productivity while working from home. Since I was only testing the free trial that offers 1500 words, the article wasn’t completely finished. The quality of the text was standard AI-content, not bad, but just very general. It would’ve needed some “humanizing” before publishing. Otherwise, the content itself was accurate and up-to-date. Copymatic is a solid AI tool, though it didn’t give me the wow factor I was hoping for.

6. TinyWow

TinyWow was mostly known as a platform for quick PDF and image editing tasks, but now you can also create long-form content with it. You can test its features for free, but for a more in-depth experience, you can purchase a purpose-specific tool plan.

How to Use It

First, I’ll show you how to start creating content with TinyWow. Go to their website. This is what the landing page looks like.

Sign in to access a free trial or purchase a plan. If you just want to test it out first, click on the tool directly.

My Results

I tested TinyWow for blog post generation purposes, and first I tested the free version, without signing up.

The tool offers a few different features for blog post writing. First, I tested the Blog Outline Generator, which I assumed would create the structure and headings for my blog post based on my prompt or title.

This is what the tool looks like.

Without the paid plans or signing up, I was able to use the “standard” AI Model.

Here is the output: a list of separate sentences. I wasn’t sure if they were meant to be used as bullet points or subheadings for my blog post.

I tested the “Keep Writing” feature to generate more text.

The tool generated a paragraph for me. I was hoping for a more coherent paragraph.

I also tested what output from the “Pro” AI Model would look like, but there was no difference in the text; it was literally the same.

The next feature I tested was the Blog Post Idea generator. With the same prompt “How to be more productive when working from home”, it generated a list of SEO friendly topics.

Lastly, I tested the Article Writer, hoping it would generate a whole blog post for me.

After I inserted the title for my post, the tool generated a complete article for me. This feature seemed the most useful for creating an entire blog post.

I added some text with the “Keep Writing” feature.

So, perhaps the workflow with TinyWow could go like this: generate an idea for your post, create an outline with the Outline Generator, and then write the full article using the Article Writer.

The text itself has that very familiar AI undertone, and would need some human editing before submitting. Also, the text is not very flowy, rather just separate sentences added together.

Pros

  • Easy to use, free
  • Can be used to create all kinds of content
  • A versatile set of tools, like an AI Image generator, a story writer, etc.

Cons

  • Output has a very AI-like tone
  • Didn’t generate coherent paragraphs; text needs to be edited
  • Can’t change the tone or voice of the output

Pricing

Here are the pricing plans TinyWow currently offers. They have different purpose specific plans, as well as the Unlimited plan, which includes access to all the tools.

To Take Home

TinyWow is an AI-assistant platform that offers something for everyone, from an image generator to a PDF editor.

I tested how suitable the tool is for blog post writing. TinyWow had separate tools for generating ideas and titles, creating an outline, and generating the post (or article) itself. The output wasn’t of very good quality in my opinion; the text sounded very AI-generated and didn’t flow well. Changing between AI Models, from standard to pro, didn’t improve the text at all. The text needs to be edited manually before submitting. My favourite tool was the blog post Idea Generator, which created a solid list of different topics for my blog post.

Using TinyWow was very easy, and all the tools were fast, even the article writer created the whole article in less than a minute. I would recommend TinyWow for someone who wants to brainstorm ideas, generate a title, or create an outline for their post, but prefers to write the actual text themselves.
