Fiverr is a freelance platform that’s easy (and affordable) to use.
They offer photo colorization services, that is, freelancers who are professional photo editors who can bring color to your old photos.

First, find a freelancer among the Photo Colorization experts on Fiverr.
I chose Sachin, who looked the most promising creator to me.
#2 Contact
I then contacted him from his profile page.
This is handy because everything happens on Fiverr in just a couple of clicks.
#3 Get a Sample
I asked him to colorize this photo and if he could give me a free sample.
He replied quickly with not only information about the gig, but he had already created a colorized sample for me.
As you can see from my messages, I am quite happy with the result.
I asked for another sample with another shirt color.
Then I asked if it was possible to create 3 photos of the original one, such that:
- One has red shirt
- One has blue shirt
- One has black shirt

Then he sent me the offer about 3 minutes later.

Fiverr is handy because they won’t let you go without you being 100% satisfied.
That’s why you can request edits from the freelancer.
Once you receive the image, just click on “I’m not ready yet” on this page.
This lets you send custom instructions for the freelancer. For example, if you colorize an old photo, you can ask the talent to change colors of clothes, houses, cars, or whatever might not be accurate in the photo.
