12 Best AI Lip Sync Tools (Free & Paid)

I tried free AI lip sync tools.

I was sad to realize that the tools that promised a free trial didn’t offer any free trials.

So I guess I just have to list the paid ones then.

Let’s jump into it!

Tool #1 – HeyGen AI

HeyGen is the most polished lip sync tool I’ve tried. You can start with text or upload your own audio, then pick from hundreds of voices in different languages.

It lets you sync that voice to an avatar or even real footage, and the results come back looking smooth and natural.

The interface is clean, fast, and everything works without the usual errors or crashes I ran into with other tools.

Try HeyGen AI

Tool #2 – Dzine AI

Alright, so after all the free tools failed, I had to try a paid one just to see if anything actually works. Dzine is more of an all-in-one AI design platform than a pure lip sync tool, but at least it delivers.

You get things like image-to-video, face swap, background removal, and even 2D-to-3D conversions. The interface is smooth, results come back fast, and it actually does what it says. The catch? You need a subscription to unlock most of the good stuff.

So it’s not free, but unlike the other tools on this list, it works.

Tool #3 – LipSync.Video

First impressions were great. No signup, just drag-and-drop your video. Unfortunately, the excitement ended quickly — upload failed right away. Broken tool. Moving on.

Tool #4 – Sync.so

Created a new project, uploaded my test video, picked an AI voice (“Dave”), and generated speech. The result?

“Hello. How is it going? This is a test recording on how good AI lip-sync tools actually are.”

Technically it worked — but visually it was terrible. This ended up being the only tool that gave me any result in this first round, which is both impressive and depressing.

Tool #5 – Magic Our AI

Allows you to upload audio instead of a script — but every attempt ended in an “unknown error”. Next.

Tool #6 – LipSyncAI.org

Site admits it’s “for testing purposes only” and wasn’t functional.

Tool #7 – Krea AI

Wanted me to upload an image, not a video. I humored it with a screenshot, but then it immediately asked for $10/month before showing results. Hard pass.

Tool #8 – Lip Dub AI

Made me answer multiple onboarding questions just to get started. Finally got to the upload screen… only to find I needed to pay for credits. No thanks.

Tool #9 – Gooey AI

Rejected my video for being too high resolution.

Total waste of time, to be honest.

Also, the preview on the homepage didn’t look too promising to me to begin with.

Tool #10 – VoZo AI

Looked promising — supports text-to-speech, audio upload, and audio extraction. But after a mandatory quiz, it put me in a 6-hour queue… which never actually processed. Dashboard was empty.

Tool #11 – Dreamina AI Lip Sync

Required a CapCut account to use. I’m not signing up for two services just to test one.

Tool #12 – Mango Animate

Wouldn’t accept my video resolution, so not going to bother testing it any further…

As you can see, most of these tools don’t even work.

There are issues with basic videos in quality. Most tools don’t offer free trials, which is strange, since if the tools actually worked, I’m sure they’d offer a free trial.

What’s Next?

If you’ve had success with a free tool I missed, drop it in the comments. I’m open to doing a paid-tool comparison next — maybe the real quality lives behind the subscription wall.

For now, though, if you’re hunting for a truly free and functional AI lip sync service… well, I just saved you several hours. You’re welcome.
