How to Use VideoToBlog
To start, here’s my video that I want to turn to a post.

To create a post from a video, first sign up to VideoToBlog.

Then, either generate the post or adjust the settings first and then generate.
I suggest adjusting the settings first because giving more details usually gives better results.
I told it to use a casual tone, avoid jargon and filler words, and stick only to the information from the video.
Like I’ve said many times on my channel, a blog post without visuals—or with just Unsplash or AI images—doesn’t have much value. From my experience, I’ve never made any money from those “text-only” posts that just repeat information.
Every blog post should bring something new to the internet.
One of the best ways to do that is by using original visuals that no one else has. The easiest way is to take images from your own videos and add them to your posts.
To automatically add visuals to a post, just click “Add Screenshots.”
Don’t forget to tell the AI how many images you want in the Custom Instructions section.
I asked it to add at least 20–30 images because a good blog post shouldn’t have any section that’s just text. To keep readers interested, you need plenty of original visuals.
Also, make sure to check More Options.
For example, I picked an “informal” writing style from there.
I left the other advanced settings as they were.
Then, click “Create Blog Post” to start generating the post from your video.
After about 2 minutes, the AI-generated article was ready.

The intro looks decent, the title is good, and the video is embedded nicely.
But so far, it’s nothing too exciting, right?

The AI grabbed the right images from the right parts of the video.
It’s pretty amazing.
Of course, there were a few small things I had to fix.
For example, the nighttime and daytime images were swapped here. But fixing that only took me about 10 seconds.

If you see an image that’s wrong, just click on it and pick the right one from the AI-captured screenshots.
This is a really well-designed piece of software. I’m curious how many creators they tested it with. At every step, it seems to do exactly what I want.
For example, if you don’t like the screenshots the AI picked, you can use the video screenshot scrub feature to add any frame from your video to the post.
This feature alone is really useful because you don’t have to take screenshots yourself anymore. The scrub bar lets you pick frames in 0.1-second intervals, so you won’t miss anything.
Also, the VideoToBlog editor has a forward-slash content block feature like WordPress.
For example, if you want to add a screenshot anywhere, just type “/” and then “screenshot.”
The AI-generated post isn’t perfect. Some screenshots are in the wrong spots, and some text doesn’t match my style.
But it’s already 80–90% done.
In fact, it only took me 10 minutes to fix this blog post so it was ready to publish! If I had written it from scratch, it would have taken hours.
Once your VideoToBlog post is ready, you can export it to your website—whether it’s WordPress, Medium, or just a plain HTML file.
To export directly to a platform like Medium, you need to create an integration token. I just copy-pasted the post instead because it was much faster, and it worked without any issues.
