Once you sign up, click “Voice Changer” to explore more AI voices in the library.

Upload your audio clip into the window:

If you don’t have an audio clip, you can record one in the editor. Just allow microphone access.

You also don’t need a fancy mic—my clips show how the AI removes background noise and makes the audio sound like it was recorded in a studio.

After uploading your voice clip, adjust the settings:

For example, here’s what I did with my clip:

Changed the voice to “Brian.”
Set “Similarity” to 100% to keep my speaking style and natural quirks.

To apply the changes, just hit “Generate.” It takes about 10–20 seconds for the AI to create the new clip.

Here’s a before-and-after comparison of the audio I got from ElevenLabs:

That’s really impressive—more than I expected.

The free trial is nice too—no watermarks or annoying sounds in the clips.

One small issue: the AI sometimes swaps words that sound similar. It’s a bit annoying. For example, in one clip, it sounded like the AI said “Infer” when I actually said “Include.” It’s subtle, though, and maybe I just misheard it. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Next, I tried using Callum’s voice for a clip.

Here’s the clip I received from the AI, alongside the original voice for comparison.

Finally, I tried changing my voice to Alice.

It doesn’t sound like AI because it includes all the little mistakes and natural quirks I have when I speak. Otherwise, I could just use text-to-speech tools and be done with it.

I have to admit, the results are really impressive. Plus, the free version is quite generous, and it’s very easy to use.

Pros

Sounds very realistic, close to a human voice. Only a few tiny mistakes and sometimes it doesn’t copy a word exactly the way you wrote it.
Can change voices from short recordings.
Supports lots of languages.
Very easy to use — you don’t even need to sign up to try it.
Free plan gives a good amount of credits.

Cons

Some voices can sound a little robotic. The free trial version of my own voice didn’t sound very good.
It’s not perfect. For example, it turned my word “Include” into something that sounded like “Infer,” but it’s subtle. You might not even notice it in the clips above.
