Flux (Pro) Review: The Fastest AI Image Generator?

Flux Pro (also called Flux 1.1 Pro) is Black Forest Labs’ top-tier text-to-image model.

It has high image quality, accurate prompt following, and a wide range of outputs. But the key feature is the high speed at which it creates these images.

It’s available through API and partner platforms, such as OpenArt.

How to use it

Head over to OpenArt, pick “Image”, choose “Flux Pro”, and create an image.

Best use

Perfect for creators who want high-quality, prompt-accurate images quickly.

Great for professional content like concept art, photoreal scenes, design comps, or anything where both quality and speed matter.

My results

I tried the Flux pro model by creating a first image on: “A stylish cyberpunk city skyline at dusk, glowing neon lights reflecting on wet streets, cinematic atmosphere.”

Here’s the result:

That’s nothing too impressive. But what was impressive was the speed. This was like 2–3 times faster than any other AI image generator I’ve tried so far.

It’s hard to demonstrate here in this post, but this one was ready in just a second or two.

If you want quick creations with still good and accurate results, this is the image model you should try.

Here’s another image I created with the same prompt as earlier, but this time I used the prompt optimizer:

It was a bit slower, but the result looks really nice.

Other than that, this is a very basic AI image generator. I see it as one of those 2022–2023 AI image generators but just 50x faster.
