Step-by-Step Guide

I recommend using Wisery to create a business card. This platform is just awesome and easy to use.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to setting it up.

1. Sign Up

First, go to Wisery’s homepage.

This is the business card editor we’ll use in this post.

Then click “Try Business Cards.”

2. Pick a Theme

Choose a theme from the template library. I picked the sample theme called “Thomas Garcia.”

3. Answer Onboarding Questions

Next, answer a few basic questions.

4. See Your Page

You’ll then see a page that looks like this.

This is the Business Page editor. It’s the page your digital business card will link to, which you’ll create later in this guide.

5. Customize URL

Next, customize your page URL. For example, I used “artturijalli,” which is my name.

Here’s the updated page URL. It looks much better now compared to the random numbers the tool originally gave it.

6. Upload Your Image

You can now upload a photo of yourself to the page.

Use the crop feature to tweak your photo and make your face larger or smaller as needed.

You’ll see a live preview of your business card on the right side of the editor. Here’s how mine looks right now:

7. Add Blocks

Once you’ve set your image, name, and basic details, be sure to check the “Blocks” section on the left side.

This will show you a range of content blocks you can add to your business page.

For example, my card has buttons for my website, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter.

I also added a “Business Card” block so anyone visiting the page can save my details to their contacts.

Finally, I added my contact details at the bottom of the page:

At this point, the page is almost ready.

You can publish it if you’re happy with it, or make design customizations if you want.

8. Redesign

To adjust the design, click “Design” on the left side:

For example, I adjusted the button borders, changed the color gradients, and updated the button shapes.

9. Publish Your Page

Once you’re done customizing the design, you can publish your business page.

10. Share It

After publishing your page, you’ll see a screen like this:

From this screen, you can copy the URL and visit your page.

On a desktop, your business page will look something like this:

On mobile, it looks like this:

That’s how easy it is to create a business card.

11. Create Business Card with QR Code

There’s one last step — creating the business card.

Go to the “Business Cards” section and click “Create Business Card.”

Fill in your basic information. You can use the same details from your business page or different ones if you’re making a separate card.

As you enter your details, you’ll see the business card preview on the right side.

Next, choose what you want people to do when they receive your card.

You can let them scan the QR code to add your details directly to their contact list.

Or you can set the QR code to open the business page you created in the earlier steps.

12. Save to Wallet

To use your card easily, save it to your iOS or Android wallet. First, click the button for your device type:

Your phone will then open the business card page. Tap “Add” to save the card to your wallet.

After that, open your mobile wallet (on iOS, double-tap the power button) and you’ll see your business card there.

This is handy because you can share the card anywhere without unlocking your phone. Just double-tap the power button at an event, and let people scan the QR code.

I set my business card to redirect to my business page, where people can then add me to their contacts.

Pretty cool, right? No more paper business cards or printed pages. It’s better for the environment and works more efficiently.

To recap: first, you created a business page. Then you made a business card that links to that page.

Hope you liked it. Thanks for reading! 🙂
