In this post, I will show you how to improve audio with AI.
Here’s a before vs. after clip that I did:
To achieve this, I used a tool called Podcastle.
It’s the best tool I’ve found for this use case after testing a bunch of those.
Let me show you how to do the same!

#1 Sign up to Podcastle AI
Let me show you a step-by-step guide on how to enhance audio with AI.

First, sign up to a tool called Podcastle. You can do it here.

Then, sign up for the service.
#2 Start free
Pick a plan. You can try it free for 7 days.

Then answer the questions briefly.

Then you’re ready to start enhancing your audio with AI.
#3 Create a new project
Click the plus icon in the personal workspace to create a new audio project.

Choose “Audio Project.”

(You can also use the audio-enhancing features with videos. I talk more about that in the video I made about this tool.)
#4 Add audio clip
Upload your audio clip to Podcastle.

Podcastle opens up an audio editor automatically after this. It looks like this:

You can do many things here. It’s an entire podcast editing platform, after all. However, I’ll only consider the audio enhancer features for this one.
#5 Enhance
Finally, it’s time to enhance your audio clip.
This happens by right-clicking the audio clip and choosing “Magic Dust.”

After you’ve clicked this, it takes a while for the AI to render the new audio.
For my 20-second clip, it took roughly 10–20 seconds.
Once the AI is ready, the old clip is going to be replaced by the enhanced one.
Feel free to listen to it. You can start the replay by hitting space.
Also, don’t forget to test the other AI audio-enhancing features.
I think that the silence removal is a cool feature as it removes all the silent parts from your audio. This is useful if you have a long recording and don’t want to go through it all.
#6 Export
Once you’re satisfied with your audio clip, you can export it.
This happens in the top right corner of the screen where it says “Export.”

This creates the final version of the audio for export. Download the file from the popup that opens up:

That’s how you improve low-quality audio easily using AI.
Thanks for reading. Happy enhancing!
