How to Use It
Here is how to start writing with Rytr, go to their website. No signing up is needed. Just click on “Start Ryting”.

Here are the use cases of Rytr, it can be used from short-form content like emails to longer blog posts and articles.

My Results
This is the writing dashboard, click “Create” to start writing. You can also upload a document.

Choose the use case for your content, since I’m testing the tool for blog post writing, I chose this. The tool has multiple language options, but those were only available upon paid plans. The tone/voice can be changed with the free trial though. I went with “Casual” which I think suits a regular blog post best.
Write down your primary keywords for the output, basically what do you want the post to be about. Creativity level can also be set to match your content, from none (more factual) to max.

So here is the output, only the title and the outline of the post are created at this point. Rytr provides some keywords for each section, so you can either start writing yourself or let the tool do the job.

By clicking on the orange “R” logo, this menu opens up. By highlighting the keywords in each section like this and clicking on “Paragraph”, you can generate more SEO friendly content from the keywords. You can do other changes or improvements to the text too, like change the length and tone.

This is what the output looks like. I ran out of the free credits so I was unable to complete the post, but I got a nice introduction to the features.

To Take Home
Rytr is an AI-assisted writing platform, especially for shorter content. Rytr does support other types of content too, the list is long and exhaustive, including Blog Post Outliner, AI Blog Generator, and Creative Writing.
I tested Rytr for blog post writing purposes.
The Blog Idea & Outline was one of the use cases and fit my purpose well. It created a nice title and headings based on my prompt. It created a nice title and headings based on my prompt. Then I had the opportunity to continue writing myself from scratch, or generate more content based on SEO friendly keywords Rytr had provided for each section.
This whole process felt very simple and quick, and would definitely save time and effort. The final text, on the other hand, would have needed some human polishing, as it sounded quite AI-generated.
On a side note, I didn’t love the screaming red layout on the front page, but luckily, it was only there.
On the writing panel, you could even switch between dark and light modes.
Rytr is a good tool to get you started on your content creation process if you’re not feeling that creative or are experiencing writer’s block.
