I’ve tried quite a few AI video enhancers, and VideoProc Converter AI—an installable program—came out on top for me.

Step-by-Step Guide
To get started with VideoProc AI, head to the site and download it.
You can go with the free trial or grab the full license.
I went ahead and bought a plan, so I had to activate it using my email and the key they sent me.
Next, pick the feature you want to work with. For this example, I’m using “Super Resolution,” which takes your video and scales it up.
After that, you’ll see a screen like this. Just drag and drop your videos into the window.
For example, I added a clip of me throwing a disc golf disc. I selected the “Enhance Video” option to boost the quality.
To kick things off, click “Run.”
Then it’s just a matter of letting the AI do its work. The time depends on your device. Even with the faster enhancer, my 20-second clip took about 10 minutes to process.
Here’s the before-and-after result I ended up with:
Pretty cool, right? The difference is definitely sharper. It’s best to view it on a laptop or TV, though—on a phone, the improvement isn’t as noticeable.
Next, I tested the “Scale” feature, which enlarges the video so it looks sharper on bigger screens.
I went with “High Quality Mode” and a 2X upscale.
This time, I used a short 7-second clip of me throwing a disc.
Even so, it took around 15 minutes for the AI to finish rendering. With a strong GPU, it would be much quicker, but on a regular computer, it’s better to just let it run in the background instead of sitting there waiting.
Here’s the result of a better quality video that I got from VideoProc:
Pretty cool again—the quality got a big boost.
You can also use this tool to upscale images.
To do that, close the app, reopen it, and select “Image AI.”
Add your image to the view.
For instance, here’s the image I used for this example:

As you can see, the quality’s a big step up from the original.
