In this post, I‘ll review HyperWrite AI. Writing emails takes more time than we’d like to admit, so I decided to try out a few AI tools to see if they can do it for you.
In my reviews, I’ll only test free tools or tools with a free trial available.
Let’s dive in!

My Experience
Next up, I’ll show you some key features and review my experience in using them. From the extensive list of tools, I tested some that I thought would be convenient in email writing assistance.
HyperWrite has a conversational chatbot right on the dashboard. What makes it interesting is that you can choose different personas for the AI, depending on what you’re writing. You can even add your own custom personas with the paid plans.

By clicking “View all tools” on the dashboard, the full list opens up. The search bar on the right lets you find a specific tool you’re looking for. Using the keyword “email” brought up a complete list of tools, all designed to assist with email writing. There really seems to be a tool for everything, from an email reply generator to an email improver.

Let’s test out the Email Generator first. You only need to provide a brief summary of the content of the email, and click on “Submit”.

The AI starts generating and the output will appear. You can edit your prompt and regenerate, or start editing the generated email in the text editor.

The chat remains on the right side panel so you can ask questions or ask the AI to rewrite something.
Next, you’ll need to fill in the details in the email template if you didn’t include them in your prompt. The language sounds a bit vague and AI-like, so some human editing might be needed.

You can rewrite the text by hand or let the AI do it. Just highlight the part you wish to modify and this should pop up.

Here, I asked the AI to rewrite this part with more casual tone.

Another tool you might find useful for email writing is the Email Improver. Let’s try it on the email the AI just generated for us.

No prompts were added so the AI just decided to rephrase the text to sound more natural and fresh.

But if that’s not what you want, you can ask for a redo in the chat. I asked the email to be more humorous, hoping that it would make it sound a bit more personal. The language is still very general, so I would have to edit it by hand before sending.

Some other features you might find interesting are the Rewrite Content and Flexible AutoWrite. These can definitely be used for writing emails too.

To Take Home
HyperWrite AI is a writing assistant platform, helping you with email and general content creation. It features a conversational chatbot for which you get to pick different AI personas to match your writing style or purpose. The platform has a wide selection of tools that can generate drafts from scratch, expand on your text, or rephrase content.
I tested this tool with the Free trial and found it quite useful for email writing purposes. It has a huge library of tools, although in practice you’d probably only need to use a few of them.
The email generator was prompt-based and allowed you to chat with the AI to ask questions or make adjustments to the output. It generated a nice template for emails, but in my opinion, the language is just too unnatural and vague to be used as it is.
I had to make some edits by hand to make it sound like a real human wrote it. Based on my short test, I’m not sure I would purchase a subscription. I’d probably just use ChatGPT, which can do the same for free. But overall, nice and easy-to-use tool for general content creation.
