My Experience
So far it’s been all hype. But let’s see if Rezi actually works. More importantly, you’ll hear my take on what I think of it when it comes to applying for jobs.
The first thing you need to do is create an account to save your work.
Just sign up with Google to make it easy.
After signing up, Rezi asks you what kind of document you want to put together.
The only free option is a Resume.
I rolled with that.
Then it’s time to choose the starting point. They recommend going from scratch and that’s exactly what I did.
You can even tailor the resume for a job post if you want. I chose this option.
Then Rezi asked me to fill in my details.

After filling in the details, you can add experiences, projects, certifications, courses, and whatnot to your resume.
The whole process is streamlined and smooth.
From the top bar, you can choose things to add to your resume. Just add as many as you potentially can.
The only paid feature is the AI Cover Letter. Other features are free to use—which makes sense.
Once you’ve added all the necessary features, it’s time to finish the resume.
Just click Finish Up and the resume will be generated for you.

Looks good, right? Especially considering it’s a free tool.
Then, to further customize the resume with AI, you can upgrade to a paid plan. This allows you to generate cover letters and even receive a review of your resume.

I personally don’t need these right now, but for someone who’s actively looking for a job, these might be cool additions.
But the free version can surely do great. Especially because you can generate those AI cover letters for free with ChatGPT and do all other sorts of AI magic on your resume.
User Reviews and Community Feedback
The community’s feedback on Rezi is mixed. Some users found the platform to be a game-changer, especially appreciating the AI-powered resume optimization and cover letter generation features14. Bottom Line
Rezi is a good free tool with cool premium features.
I think this tool got the job done quite well. However, I didn’t like the fact that I couldn’t really experiment with the AI features of this tool without paying a pro membership.
I think one can generate cover letters with ChatGPT for free and do all these other things as well.
So if I’m 100% honest, I would probably not pay for this tool unless there’s something that ChatGPT cannot do and this can.
But this depends on your use case too. I was just playing with it for fun. If you’re actively seeking a job, the resume review might actually be a worthwhile paid feature to consider.
